For the entreupreneurial among you, Broken TeePee Designs of the Etsy Listing shares how she got into her business:
“I have been making jewelry for the last year and a half. I came to it rather ate in life after some rather serious health problems. I have very poor ision and now need three pairs of glasses. I decided to try and make beaded olders for them – and a talent was found. From there I went into making jewelry and ave discovered that even though it is somewhat frustrating for me with my isabilities – I don’t feel my hands due to a brain disorder – it helps fulfill my artistic soul. I think I pick the bright colors I do because I don’t see very well.
I named my store Broken Teepee Designs because when my husband and I bought our lot in Montana there were two things on it – lots of weeds and a broken teepee. I thought Broken Teepee was better than Lots of Weeds. We had been
traveling around in a fifth wheel trailer for three years seeing the country and fell in love with Western Montana and decided to settle down again. It’s a very small town – 900 people.”
