Something about the Silhouettes swimwear line doesn’t sit quite right with me. Something about the Silhouettes options has me less than excited. Part of it could well be that I’m overloaded on skirtinis, but it’s also more subtle: the Empire tank is unflattering, giving a broad look to hips and thighs, the floral swimdress is kind of a hokey print. That said, I like this, not so much for any benefits to the figure as it is that it’s a reasonably unique design, and I’m pleased to see something different.
That said, I’m not sure if this would be too flattering on higher-end plus sizes.

It does give some gentleness of shape around the hips in a jungle-Jane sort of way, and it’s definitely unique compared with whatever else is out there.
