Jessica London is all about moderation - moderate prices for moderate designs, a great foundation for basics but limited opportunities for the fashion adventurous. This certainly holds true of their fall line, although it has one or two delightful standouts.

Of their particular standouts, these two were my favorites:

Why I like it:

While normally I oppose stripes of all stripes on plus size women, I cheerfully make an exception for the above. If you’re bustier, the V-neck plays up that shape in a flattering way, and the diagonal impressions created a visual stopping point, so that you don’t wind up thinking of continual width even with the horizontal stripes right at the waist.

Why I like it:

This is a fun alternative to the blazer for this season’s fashion choices. It’s insanely comfortable, much more casual, and the belt at the waist allows it to retain some shape. While here it’s paired over a basic jeans and white T, this would also look great with a pencil skirt and any other fitted knit shirt. This is great if you want your handbag to be the focal part of whatever outfit you’re wearing.
