EtsyWatch: Plus Size’s Shop
As a counterpoint to an Etsy seller or two who have the warped idea that size 14 is XXL/2X (so what, are these seamstresses Smurfs?), I have been happy to ferret out those with a more realistic definition of what “large” actually is. In the case of Etsy seller Plus Size, she doesn’t just own up the sizes – she celebrates it, with generous sizing all the way up to 8X. For a frame of reference, her sizing chart at a small starts at 36″for the chest and at 5X is 56″ for the bust. That’s very generous – by that sizing, I am a mere XL, a sizing I have missed since the beginning of college.
In addition to the comfy tees, the art is just sassy – a BBW can be bellydancer, seductress, or High Priestess (a tarot reference indicating a commanding and deeply spiritual woman) -in other words, she can be anything, and be hot while she does it.
You can bet this is on my list for my clubbing wardrobe!
