I’m ambivalent about nail polish. On the one hand, it’s actually a status-builder: people assess your social class based on the appearance of your nails. On the other hand, there is only one environmentally friendly nail polish on the market, and it’s a solid $18 a bottle. With the peep-toed shoes that are so popular these days, it’s especially important to make sure those tootsies are well-groomed. Given that a lot of plussies can’t easily do that prop-the-foot-on-the-coffee-table move, these strips from Avon are a great solution. I can’t wait to try them.
