Because of recent travels, I found myself in a position where I needed a decent pajama set. Since people were actually going to see me in these pajamas, I steadfastly refused to even consider wearing those ubiquitous capri-jammies. Just because I’m going to bed doesn’t mean I need to look and feel like a bowling ball wrapped in elastic. Sadly, my efforts came to naught. I could not find pajamas that I liked, that would look good on me, and that I could afford prior to my journey, so I literally had to sweat it out with my sweats. All I want is comfortable, to my ankle, pajama pants and a button down top to go with them. Sometimes a girl just has to sleep in something that isn’t her boyfriend’s tee-shirt. If you see something like that, PLEASE post it here.

I sleep in some quite large and tall-sized men’s Oxford-type shirts, embellished by me for cuteness. Sometimes I change the buttons, sometimes I put little lacey bits or whatever. They wash up well and are fun.
Alternately, at Christmas-time and sometimes Valentine’s Day, Lane Bryant will have satin pajama sets -either men’s styling with pants or nightshirt and wrap combos. I’ve bought a few sets at TJ Maxx, but whatever brand they carry has a much different definition of 3X than I.
