I finally got to check out the Lane Bryant Outlet store that opened about an hour outside of Minneapolis around a year ago. I have to admit, I’m impressed. Just as there’s some difference between the main store and its website, there’s a world of difference between Lane Bryant Outlet and the main store. And while the pricing system is annoying - the tags on the clothing are the “marked up” price, so you have to check a sign to see “how much you’re saving” - the selection is really quite good.

I wound up walking out with a pencil skirt, the ribbed tights I’ve been pining for, one of those Cacique bras I’ve been hearing so much about,  and a couple of wardrobe-completing pieces including pants I can wear for gardening this summer. Yes, there will be pics of me in some of these pieces later. And except for the price tag thing, I was quite pleased - the buzz about the bras, absolutely true. They’re awesome.
