I’m posting this simply because a few of my personal friends are just now really getting into using the blogosphere, rather than simply observing it for amusement. Since my website is one of those that is intended for actual use, with my posts really being filler on the way to the shopping (albeit nutritious filling, like hummus) I thought I might be of some small assistance in planning a route.

As you can see from this picture, I’ve circled the term “General Shopping.” Beneath it is a list of links that go to plus size shops, all that sell up to size 22 or higher. Except in unusual circumstances, I will not link to sites that sell up to, say, only size 18 and then bill themselves as “plus-sized,” because as far as I can tell, those stores aren’t serving the market but are trying to prey on the insecurities of those within it.  I personally have no issues ordering from a company overseas, so not all of them have been separated out just yet. If you look further down the scroll, you will see some shops have been sorted into categories such as “Plus Size UK” and “Plus Size Canada.” I even found one that is “Plus Size Germany.” These shops are not paid links, they are ones I have found or have had recommended to me through other plus size blogs or by people I know in person. It’s not that I wouldn’t look for affiliate fees, it’s just that I haven’t quite gotten to that point yet.

The box above my advertiser slot is a search engine. This is one way to avoid having to dig through the archives and relentlessly page back through the site. You can simply type in a keyword such as “lingerie” and it will bring up an abbreviated version of all the posts I’ve ever written concerning lingerie.
