There are some places you have to dig harder than you do in others to find something fashionable, wearable, and affordable. Even though I would say most fatshionistas under 50 - possibly 60 - see LBC as one of those places, they are slowly taking baby steps towards ousting the mumu and putting in the wrap dress. While Lane Bryant Catalog’s prices have gone up a bit, it’s still a reasonably reliable source for plus size clothing, and just as good as its competitors for wardrobe basics like T-shirts, not to mention a broad variety of sizing for larger bras.

While their spring line is still mostly aimed at their original customer base, there are two items that jumped out as quite wearable among the more fashion-conscious:

The dress is really quite nice and well cut. The top is more for those inclined towards a bohemian look - for larger women who want to do boho, the look does work best with longer cuts rather than lots of layers.
