Coldwater Creek is one of those size 00-26 places for slightly older women who managed their money wisely in their youth. In other words, it’s a tad expensive, a tad conservative, but has enough of a sense of luxury to turn out a few pieces that are a little bit trendy and always that one that causes you to sit there, stunned at its beauty - and in the case of the plussie, deeply annoyed that it doesn’t come in your size.
Still, there are a few plus items in their spring line that are expensive (always) but very nice. For instance, they’re already in line with the crocheted sweater trend that’s been creeping in:
I also think the way they’re recommending it be worn here really is the optimal for a plussie, although I’m curious to see how it might look with a bohemian dress. I fear overlayering leads to exaggerating size, but I’ve been wrong before.
I also love this:
The shirt would look great over any kind of gypsy or crinkle skirt, and the pants are silk and linen, with a lovely and flattering cut.
I also adore this vine suede jacket. It’s just one of those quirky unusual pieces that you add to your wardrobe and wear for decades.
