I enjoy watching Nip/Tuck. I can’t remember the theater term for it, perhaps it’s farce, but ultimately the show has no moral value whatsoever. Sure, they toss in a burn victim here and a baby with deformities there, but ultimately, it’s all about people who are plastic inside and out. I suspect that it’s actually pretty representative of the plastic surgery industry.
So finding this new children’s book about mommy’s plastic surgery written about on Feed Me! doesn’t surprise me in the list. I’m borrowing the panel printed on Feed Me! as it’s the most relevant to our subject matter:
I’m just waiting for the soulless bastard who came up with this one to come out with another one: “Congratulations on your Bat Mitzvah! Here are some choices about your nose.”
