Here’s a lesson on why self-reference is good: way back when I bemoaned the lack of sustainablly-manufactured plus clothing, a commenter let me know about this business. I had forgotten it, completely, until referring back to it in yesterday’s post about Lola and Gigi.
Mewv Sustainables has a smaller size boutique and a plus size boutique – and it’s all made with recycled or sustainable organic fabrics, from tencel to bamboo.
Right now the pricing is upwards of $100, and sizing goes up to a 28 assuming a 45″ waist maximum. It’s a step. I’m looking forward to seeing what else they’ve got in the future.
