Sexy Fall Picks

When I was a teenager, my mother would cluck and tell me to put on something that wasn’t so off the shoulder/short and tell me I wasn’t yet old enough to be sexy. She burst out laughing when, after college, I appeared in something that was definitely revealing in nature (probably a corset top) and when she clucked, I answered “I’m over 18, Mom. I’m old enough to be sexy!”

A few of these pieces made me think of that conversation and chuckle. These are sexy while still leaving something to the imagination – which is where most of that erogenous stuff takes place anyway. So if you’re looking for something that gives you a self-confidence boost, check your body shape and pick something that works well for you.

I might just be being suckered by the model’s figure, and my belly is much too big to pull this off well. But for those among you who are more top heavy than bottom, this is a fabulous look.

A variation on Torrid’s corset offerings, I thought this was cool just because it is unusual and would pair well with the above skirt, go over jeans or even work in an undercover sort of way, layered beneath a jacket and over some flare-leg business type pants.
