Marshall’s asked me to take another turn ’round their shoe section, and I have to admit, it’s still a great selection if you’re a size 10 or under and you are hunting for top-line brands. I was particularly enamored with the selection of boots, although I admit that I paused thoughtfully over the Converse sneakers – it’s still a very girl geek-chic look, especially if you like striped socks. Still, if you’re on a budget, Marshall’s has done a massive aisle-cleanup and it’s well worth spending the time hunting for your own bit of fabulous.

While I wasn’t able to squeeze my foot into anything this round – and having a craft show the next day, I wasn’t willing to risk it limping everywhere – I did find a lot of new styles worth considering. Keep an eye out for a corset-laced style boot. Also, peek-a-boo toe has extended to the middle of the foot, too. Oddly, it works.
