2009 Spring Peek at Silhouette’s
I like Silhouettes. They tend to make nice, well cut garments with generous sizing – and the garments stand up quite nicely in the washer.
This year’s Silhouette offerings I suspect are a reflection of the economy, or at least the psyche created by the economy. There’s lots of billow and puff, and lots to cover up. There are also some old school offerings like caftans that I tend to frown upon – the design is all over the place, as though designs that were tabled last year were brought on rather than sending their creatives back to the drawing boards.
