Cuts, color and clarity: that’s Igigi. I know I sound like a drooling fan – because I am. I’ve managed to scrape together for one item from Igigi in my closet, and that’s a wide belt that adds a corset-without-the-corset look; I’m hoping to add more in the future, whether from my piggy bank or when sales coincide with me having a little extra money. Igigi has a limited but mainly fabulous line of clothing every year – this year it looks like the decision makers are opting to release a few pieces at a time, probably in a strategy to remain in our fashion consciousness. It’s working, although I along with other Igigi fans are always greedy for more.
The summer breeze dress is one of the first of their brights, and among the more formal looks that Igigi is known for.
It looks here like the designer at Igigi is starting to experiment with North American casual – with the pear shape in mind. Although magenta isn’t my color, for those with more olive and mocha skin tones, this is fantastic.
I also like this olive-dress for hourglass figures; these are good examples of how Igigi does bring multiple body-type designs to the table.
