Tabutoys recently invited me to review their queen size lingerie line, or to look at any of their adult toys. While my exposure to the brand is limited, I definitely know they’re doing the following things right: the queen size lingerie models would qualify as plus size although they tend towards the lower end of the large spectrum. The pieces are sexy without being fetishizing (there’s other stuff you’d need for that.) And from the limited testing I’ve been able to do (a cold arrived shortly after the lingerie) this is reasonably decent quality stuff – the thigh highs go on easily enough on my 5′ 8 frame although I still feel a little safer with a garter belt.
I was sent the above piece for primary review. I am, alas, not nearly as shapely as the model, and the fishnetting is much more pronounced than you might see on the picture. Sizing is a sort of one-size fits all plus, and I’m definitely on the upper end of that size; a 3x would equate with a 26/28. It wasn’t an immovable fit, but it was pretty tight. While I felt a bit…packaged…my fiancee was quite enthusiastic in his response to the packaging, and has asked me to wear it again. The matching thong was a pleasant surprise – while I wouldn’t wear it to a professional event, it is the most comfortable thong I’ve ever worn.
The thong gets an A+ for comfort, and I think that I just have some internal stuff to overcome when it comes to the babydoll itself. They’re well worth exploring for your own satisfaction or to delight a partner, and the queen size does fit actual plus sizes going above 16, although for me clearly it was a bit of a tight experience.
