Bomber jackets in plus size
While admittedly bomber jackets hark back to a time that’s somewhat similar to what’s going on now (lots of war and all) I think that reappropriating items of war for objects of fashion can be a good thing – when chosen wisely. Items of poverty, however, should go untouched completely – so W, perhaps you ought to test out that rule, since that last homeless chic stunt was about as edgy and artistic as a rusty nail in a dog’s butt. So when I point to the bomber jacket trend, I bear in mind that some of you may want to add messages about bringing troops home on the back, and a few people might well shy away from these picks – while these items are availabe in mainstream stores, the real things were instruments of war (or at least instruments of keeping pilots from freezing their butts off.)
