Self-Sponsor Posting: Magickal Realism Perfume Arts

novsamplerConsider this a test of my own Google juice, as well as a straight-up sponsor post. In this case, I am my own sponsor. I am currently running a sale in my Etsy shop, Magickal Realism Perfume Arts. For the month of November, I’m offering FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE. (Null and void where prohibited, alas.) Lovely UK citizens, I hear your postal strike is over? Bear in mind that December 1st I will be closing my perfumery to prepare for my wedding.

For those of you who did not know, Magickal Realism Perfume Arts is my business – my time is split between freelance writing, blogging Fat Chic and this perfumery business. Fat Chic came up as a sideline, but because I am actually passionate about clothing plus women with respect, it can sometimes overshadow my other works. Everything I do is a bootstrap business – supporting me is indeed supporting an indie artist.

As to the perfumes themselves, if you’re a fan of Chanel, Hermes and other high-end department store fare, my perfumery is not for you. I deliberately design fragrances as wholly unique, intended to offer a scent experience completely different from what you get at a perfume counter. Most are oil based. Most are 100% natural. My synthetic fragrances are offered strictly as a base of comparison between natural materials and synthetics, and I deliberately separate the two.

If you’re curious as to the inspirations behind my perfume and the other goings-on in that end of my business, I invite you to take a look at the Magickal Realism Perfume Arts blog. While I leave most reviews, etc. to perfume fiends, on this blog I share photos of my daily life and inspirations, along with a bit of my cooking experiences. It’s probably more folksy than Fat Chic, and I can only hope a few of you find it charming.

Not for you? You’ve still got Fat Chic clothing search!
