Lately, hemline doesn’t mean much. Which I’m totally good with. Some days you want to show leg, and some days you can’t be bothered to shave. And while I find the mini-trend of asymmetric skirts lopsided, I can see the appeal even if I wouldn’t know what to do with one myself. Admittedly, I’m much less of a skirt-wearer than I used to be. In winter it’s just too cold, even with tights, where I live, and in summer it’s too hot to wear the hosiery necessary to make the outfit attractive.

But with snow melting and spring coming, I know a few of you will want to let your gams out to sing. So here’s hoping you find the right skirt with the right twirl. As for me…anyone make galoshes for a 21″ calf?
