Because I’m really rough on my purses, I actually do have to replace them once or twice a year. (I am really trying to stop this, as right now I’m still mourning a suede bag felled in a sambuca accident last year.) This year, I ended up getting a purse very similar in shape to the one above from Etsy shop raydesigns – the one above is handmade and gorgeous. Mine, I picked up at a local thrift store for $4 and I’m laying odds on its chances of survival even if I do give it a good buff with shoe polish.
Typically, I do take a look at Etsy handbags first. Sometimes what’s on Etsy is so much more affordable, and since I’m an Etsy seller myself, it just seems like the neighborly thing to do. A nd in the time I do this, I find such interesting, interesting things:
