Definatalie makes a body positive statement after some people on Facebook misused her image. She states with much eloquence what I still struggle to say, especially since the few trolls I get on Fat Chic are “fashion” trolls as opposed to the garden-variety “you’re fat” types. I don’t delve too deep into fat politics because it all gets so…political. I for one just want to wear clothing that doesn’t suck, and while I do consider the socio-economic impact of my choices going on about it too often here is just as boring as say, running a blog that might as well be a catalog. I am much more thoughtful these days about what I buy and what I wear. Just leaving the house as a size 28 is a political statement, and that doesn’t really need words.
