I blog in intense bursts. For me, it’s easier just to let the inspiration come, schedule out a whole bunch of stuff, and start again at the next burst of inspiration. I realize that’s now how it works for most people. So I wanted to share a few places I go, aside from the online storefronts of plus size clothiers, for inspiration, ideas and things to reconsider.
1. Stumbleupon. For those unfamiliar, this is a toolbar you can install in your browser that removes any thought whatsoever from web surfing. Just fill out your profile, pick the topics that matter to you, and click away. Thumbs up what you like, thumbs down what you don’t. Usually it’s fun, although I am usually scarred from macro photography of insects. You can even network with each other, or narrow down what you surf to your favorite topic. I often click just "fashion" or "photography" and find wonderful things.
2. Style.com. Yes, I openly hate Vogue but somehow this website makes me not quite wish for the company’s flaming death. I think it’s all the fashion week photography.
3. Daily Telegraph, especially the fashion picture galleries. Brits big and small can really do fashion when they’re inclined, thus the reason I drool over most of the British based EU plus size lines.
