While suede is generally a style option I only consider for shoes, every time I see it in a different piece of apparel, I get fascinated by it. It’s so easy to pet, and yet seems kind of  tough. I still mourn for the suede handbag that died under an onslaught of Sambuca. It was like having a green puppy on my shoulder I could pet for comfort whenever I wished. I would get it again in a heartbeat.

Of course, cleaning it takes vigilance. First you brush your hair, and then you brush your outfit…
