The cold shoulder concept seems kind of, well, chilly, to me. When you live in places where your shoulders GET cold, if you see that part of the garment missing, your next thought is along the lines of…”got a scarf?”
What sold me on the look, ultimately, was a woman I saw at the YWCA. She wore a cold shoulder top, leggings, and a Russian-style faux fur hat. It made me giggle – suddenly there was some wit to the missing shoulders. I wish I’d snapped her picture, but that sort of thing is frowned on at most fitness clubs.
