There’s a sort of beautiful simplicity to shirtdresses – you can wear them any time of year, they’re infinitely adaptable to different situations, and they’re that rare dress that goes with more than one pair of shoes. I would argue that the only type of shoe that does not work with a shirtdress is a simple flip flop style sandal. I can even see pulling off the higher gladiator sandals with one of these. They’re as comfortable as dresses get, and extremely useful if you’re planning on flashing someone. (Only use this on someone who would ENJOY being flashed by you.) This version here is a bit shorter than the usual – most come well past the knees – but for something with a more relaxed feel, it does work well.
