One of the things I’m uniquely good at is surfing clearance. While I absolutely love digging through every site possible for new plus size offerings, my lifestyle makes my actual shopping habits fit into the following pattern:
My shopping process
- Is it on Clearance yet?
- Can I use this coupon/discount with clearance items?
- Has it disappeared from Clearance yet?
- If it disappeared from clearance, did it go somewhere else – like Marshall’s, Ross, Alight, or Ebay?
- Is it in a thrift store?
Bargain Catalog outlet would, in this hierarchy, fall somewhere in the middle. Just as I know where the Target item clearance items really go when they’re unloaded, I now know where a lot of RedCats brands go – straight to Bargain Catalog outlet. After those extended and generous clearance sales, off it goes for one last trip around BCO, and then it’s on its way out. There’s some good stuff you can find that way, too – it’s totally worth taking a look once in awhile.
