Apparently the subtle A-line has yet another rebrand, now as the “skater dress” because it resembles the dresses Olympic figure skaters wear. Since we’re just now seeing the summer Olympics, I’m not really clear on the marketing logic here – but these are cute dresses that can work on at least two non-hourglass body types. Also, they are that rare dress that looks equally good paired with ballet flats or simple pumps.
