Copryight
All content by Fat Chic copyright Diana Rajchel or to the article poster unless otherwise noted. Comments, critiques, and writeups of plus fashion and culture are (mostly) unsolicited. Those that are solicited are clearly labeled and the post begins with a disclosure. Guest writers retain copyright to works posted on Fat Chic.

Layouts, plugins, cool programming features and dancing monkeys are open source goodies provided by various contributors to Wordpress; all licensing agreements are according to their terms, and any code that has been tweaked has only been tweaked to prevent a total blog crash.

Photos and images are linked back to the source or originating store. Images chosen either have a commercial interest/benefit within the link (links back to the product or store with or without an affiliate relationship) or they are some form of Creative Commons. Please contact me through the contact page if you would like something removed – this will be done, no questions asked.

Trademark
Fat Chic is pending trademark. The images and brand may not be used without my express permission. However, if you contact me and let me know the details, I’m glad to sign a permission slip.

Privacy Policy
Your email is hidden from other viewers; this information is not used or shared. I have no way of knowing who adds my blog to an RSS feed and I’m going to leave it that way. You can share your link and I have no control or responsibility over how people who follow it behave.

Comment Policy
Comments must be relevant to all posts made, and a modicum of civility is required. Fat Chic is a supportive place and as safe as I can make it for its readers. Bear in mind that plus women have a LOT of body types and there are many different reasons for larger body mass; this means that one fat woman can go braless and another would injure herself trying it. Phrases like “are you crazy?” are disrespectful and are a form of flaming. Fat is NOT a negative word in the context of Fat Chic – it simply refers to woman of larger body mass who have more fat cells inside their bodies. Thus, “fat.”

Advertising Policy
It’s always in the best interests of an advertiser to place ads where the desired market already goes. Please keep this in mind when approaching me about advertising. Prohibited products include pornography, illegal substances and diet advertising. (There’s some darn good reasons that diet companies are under scrutiny by the FDA.)

Especially welcome to advertise:
Plus size retailers and retailers that have TRUE plus lines – sizing that extends from size 16 upward.
Independent clothes designers that offer plus clothing.
Independent artisans, artists, authors (no diet books) and designers.

These policies may change at any time; if it’s been awhile, please review this page.
