By summer weight I of course mean â€œlight.â€ Possibly even â€œairy.â€ Full of holes, broader stitches, all that stuff. A summer sweater is not quite the office cardigan â€“ it can be a little sexy. Thereâ€™ s no doubt youâ€™re wearing something inappropriate for the office underneath.
Itâ€™s not like youâ€™re wearing it to keep warm.
Crochet, in its own way, is a yarn variation on sheer looks. For any crochet looks not too heavy for summer, you need some space between the stitches/loops â€“ and that means a little touch of see-through. There isnâ€™t really a wrong way to wear crochet:Â as long as you donâ€™t wind up confusing your sweater for a doily, you should be OK.
